In collaboration with Putney Student Travel, the Columbia Climate School will be offering summer traveling programs for high school students. This seminar series is to introduce high school students (and rising grade 8 students) to the topics that will be covered during those traveling programs. Our first speaker of the series will be Jeff Schlegelmilch from the National Center for Disaster Preparedness, who will speak about his work in disaster planning, resilience, and recovery. Jeff will be leading the American West trip this summer.
