For a major or special concentration in Sustainable Development, the two required sustainable development foundation courses should be taken first and students should then work with the program adviser, Sylvia Montijo, on further course selection and sequencing. A minimum of 14 courses and a practicum are required for the major; a minimum of 8 courses and a practicum are required for the special concentration.
